Macedonian Ethnic School Goce DelchevNewcastle
The Macedonian Ethnic School “Goce Delchev“ in Newcastle opened its doors to the Macedonian public in 1978. The Macedonian ethnic school is located in the premises of Macedonian Orthodox Church of St Mary in Broadmeadow.
This school in Newcastle was and continues to be financed by the family of students who attend the school and by the “Department of Education” of NSW.

The school is open every workday during school hours, from 9am – 12pm.
32 students aged 5 to 12 years are currently attending the school . They are of varying degrees of prior knowledge of the Macedonian language. Teaching is performed in a playful and relaxed atmosphere, in which children are stimulated not only to learn the language, but also to become familiar with the specificity and culture of Macedonia.
